The International Entrance Scholarships are offered annually to undergraduate international students who are entering their first year of study in any undergraduate degree program in the upcoming fall term. To be eligible, applicants must meet the university’s English Language Proficiency requirement. The scholarships are renewable for the second, third, and fourth years at the University of Calgary, provided recipients maintain a GPA of 2.60 or higher over a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter terms. Additionally, recipients must continue to pay the international differential tuition fee as international students. These scholarships are open to international students who are required to pay a differential fee and are not Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada. Academic merit will be the primary consideration in the selection process.
The scholarship recipients will receive an award worth $20,000 per year, which is renewable based on maintaining the same academic performance.
To apply for the International Entrance Scholarships, you must first apply for a study place at the University of Calgary and receive a conditional or unconditional offer of admission. The scholarships are awarded automatically based on academic merit.
